ReThink Alabama – Briarwood Presbyterian Church, PCA
I have spent a greater part of this decade working towards a singular vision. I want people in Alabama to understand their significance in God’s coming kingdom. Paul states that God entrusted him (and in a sense all Christians) with the gospel message. God chose us to be heralds of the gospel truth that Jesus sits presently on his throne as King of all kings and Lord of all lords. Apologetics, or the defense of the faith, is just the realization of this truth. We are all called to give this hope in a way and manner that does justice to the character of God the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Tactical Faith stands ready to help prepare saints with the right thoughts and reasons for engaging the broken world. We were so happy to see our vision playing out at Briarwood Presbyterian April 21st and 22nd. Jay Shaw and Jonathan Woods, both employees of Briarwood, had a vision a few years ago where they would bring an apologetically themed youth conference. With the help of Stand to Reason, a California based apologetic ministry, Briarwood organized one of the most successful youth apologetic conferences in the South. Tactical Faith was honored to play a role as a sponsor and stand alongside Briarwood. We hope and pray that our state continues to amaze and we give God all the glory for it.
